SAGUENAY – The living room Aesthetic Two thousand and one faces located at Carré Davis changes ownership. Nathalie Michaud has now been in charge of trade since June 1, the one who has been self-employed within the company for three years already.
“It’s an institute that’s been around for almost 38 years at Davis Square, so it’s a well-established salon. I was self-employed, I had rented a room within the company for three years already and I had been in the field for 28 years, so it was a natural step for me to become an owner”, underlines Nathalie Michaud, new owner of the Salon Esthétique Two thousand and one faces.
The former owner of the Esthétique Deux mille et un visages salon will remain employed for another two or three years. “The owner wanted to retire in a few years. She keeps her position as beautician in the salon in order to exercise a gradual change, but I am officially the owner since June 1st,” says Ms. Michaud.
New decor
The company is currently looking for an employee to rent the third room available within the salon. “The name and identity won’t change within the business, I’m just going to redecorate next fall to put everything to my liking. […] I am also looking for self-employed workers to fill a missing place within the team, there are currently two of us working in the company,” she adds.
The next years
“We hope that the trade will continue to roll and that the show will develop over the years. I’m happy to see that my clientele is there, even after the pandemic. […] It’s an advantage for us to have a schedule that is different from the usual fairs, because I work six days. Normally, I am available on Saturday mornings, except during the summer,” explains the new manager of the Esthétique Deux mille et un visages salon.
