Arif said his turnover had risen because during the corona time many people released their motorbike collections to him. Arif said that in the RX-King buying and selling business, what was difficult was looking for goods, not selling.
“Those who suffer from the impact of their Corona on the sale of their collections, on the one hand, the sultans (rich people) who are not affected have even become toys. They are just playing at home because they have this buying cellphone, including motorbikes,” he said.
“Corona yesterday actually increased sales because I had a lot of goods. Because if I find it difficult to find goods, not selling them. Selling is easier, I run like that,” he said.
Arif observed that his business could take off in the midst of a pandemic because his merchandise was targeting the hobby area. In contrast to other used motorbike traders who target daily or work motorbikes.

“Yes, because it can. They made a motorbike for me if I was a hobby. When these sultans, who were not affected much because of the corona, played,” he said.

However, the sales are not always good. Arif, who is increasingly famous for the RX-King NOS, which costs Rp. 150 million, said his sales began to return to normal after the implementation of PSBB volume two in DKI Jakarta.
“But in this second PSBB it started to be quiet, people had started activities, were already bored with nutrition, at home they were bored, they started to ignore the corona and started doing activities again,” he said.
“I can say that from the beginning of the corona in (March), then the second to fifth months (May-July) it was still smooth, good, because getting the goods was easy. But in the seventh month it started to be quiet,” he said.

“I was quite consistent in the RX-King, but in the end I also ventured into other 2-stroke motorbikes. Because I found it difficult to get the goods but the business had to keep going, I finally tried something else, just a hobby motorbike,” he said.
