This model replaced the Kia Rio X-Line. It is noted that in the first ten months of 2020, this type of body accounted for 47% of all Rio sold in Russia.

At the front of the Kia Rio X, the bumper, radiator grill and lighting devices were touched, and due to the increased air intakes, the appearance of the car became more aggressive. At the rear of the cross-hatchback, the bumper, taillights and fog lights have been updated, the design of which follows the design of the front. The ground clearance of the Rio X remains the same – 195 mm.

The range of Kia Rio X engines includes a 1.4-liter engine of the Kappa family (100 hp, 132 Nm) and a 1.6-liter engine of the Gamma family (123 hp, 156 Nm). Both engines can be aggregated with a 6-speed manual and 6-speed automatic transmissions.
