L’New Youth Association who co-manages the Balnea project, then, addresses young people directly on social media: «Dear kids, your behavior, justified by some adults, during the nights of San Lorenzo and Ferragosto, has left a sign of incivility on the free beach Balnea. Not only have you made it impassable, with coals abandoned everywhere together with supermarket trolleys, but you have also destroyed everything you found, including the wooden table of the Nuova Gioventù association placed in the external atrium of the association. Even more serious was the damage that you maliciously wanted to cause to the water pipe of the showers intended for guests of the free beach Balnea, the latter also used to welcome people with disabilities».
The association adds: «These actions not only disrespect those who work for the common good, but they unfairly penalize those who need this structure. It is important to reflect on the impact of your actions and learn to respect shared spaces».
