Salerno, red light massage center closed

At the conclusion of a targeted investigative activity, aimed at combating the criminal phenomenology of crimes against prostitution, the State Police subjected to criminal seizure a massage center site in via Tables of this city center, run by women of Asian nationality. The measure was triggered following an observation activity carried out by the flying squad agents, which revealed an unusual and intense flow of men frequenting the centre.

The investigations

Investigative investigations showed that activities were regularly carried out in that centre prostitutionalso advertised with online publication of photos portraying women in provocative poses on the center’s website and on some erotic-themed platforms. During the inspection of the center sums of money cash, pills of Chinese production used to bring benefits in the sexual sphere, as well as the presence of beds as furniture instead of beds where massages were performed.

The tests

Furthermore, one was found 41 year old Chinese woman, irregular on the national territory, for which investigations are now underway by the immigration office. The activity is part of a broader framework of activities that the Police Commissioner of Salerno has arranged – both for preventive and repressive purposes – aimed at giving immediate responses to citizens’ safety requests: the latter are constantly invited by the Police Commissioner to report situations that cause alarm to the State Police, even resorting to the State Police app Youpol.
