Salerno, new “Volpe” with 15 thousand seats

An intervention useful not only to guarantee a “home” for the Salerno during Arechi restyling but also to take a first step in the redevelopment project of the entire area planned by the Municipality of Salerno which includes the construction of the dune park. This is the objective set in the design guidance document for the new foxthe sports facility on Via Allende which will be converted into a temporary facility by 15 thousand places during the works of the “prince of stadiums”. The Dip, finally, shows all the details of a project that until now had remained almost obscure.

The costs and times. L’Current has defined the costs and timing of the intervention which received the approval from the conference of services: for the Volpe an investment of just over is estimated 22 million eurosof which seven will be invested to equip the stadium with prefabricated stands. As for the timing, however, the demolition of the useless structures is planned in two and a half months (everything will be torn down: from PalaTulimieri up to the structures serving the former purifier on which particular attention will be given from an environmental point of view) and to complete the transformation of the Volpe in six months. Interventions that will start at the same time as the restyling of the “prince of the stadiums”, so that the entire construction area can be cleared quickly.
