He starts with five podiums in the first interregional test of the Junior Grand Prix the 2024/2025 season for the Under 14s of Salerno Fencing Club. On the platforms of Foggia the foil players from Salerno won one gold medal, three silver and one bronze, finishing off a very “pink” first competition in the best possible way.
Indeed it was women’s hat-trickin fact, in the Girls/Students competition he saw Syria Bernadette Lambiase climb onto the top step of a podium all branded Club Scherma Salerno, with Elisa Gaudino in second position e Karol Rispoli in third place. Double silver, however, from the men’s group: in the Boys category second place for Giorgio Gaudinowhich thus doubled the “family” second places, and 2nd place also for Martin Coppola in the Boys/Students competition.
At the foot of the podium Andrea Pianese (6°) e Nicola Cuomo (8th) among the Boys/Students, but the technicians Stefano Apolito e Luca Bottiglieriwho led the Salerno foilists in Foggia, also saw positive notes in other non-medalists on the Apulian platforms who concluded with these results: 11th Mario Berni Canani e 12° Helenio Daniele Caliò among the very young, 11th Greta Planzo among Girls/Students, 11th Giuseppe Paolillo20° Alessio Auletta e 21° Gianluca Saviello among the boys/students.
In the same weekend the Salerno Scherma Club was also involved in the international field with Giuseppe Di Martino who took part in the stage of European Under 17 Circuit of foil in Samorin. The master’s student Marco Autuoriwhich also followed him to Slovakia, stopped this time on the threshold of a best 32while still accumulating valuable experience and other points that add up to his first continental podium in the Cadet categoryobtained a few weeks ago with the bronze medal won in Warsaw.
