“A lot of work is also being done on the phenomenon in terms of prevention, implementing initiatives aimed at combating both the supply and consumption of drugs. On the demand side, which unfortunately is also growing among young and very young people, interventions involving a plurality of institutions are increasingly aiming to raise consumer awareness of the damage caused by the use of narcotic substances with targeted information campaigns. On the other front, for months, they have been planning, with all the Police Forcescoordinated territorial control activities aimed at preventing and intercepting drug dealing with satisfactory resultsnts,” concluded Esposito.
