Salerno: 82 verbal warnings issued, crackdown on illegal parking attendants

There are 82 provisions of oral warning against individuals deemed socially dangerous issued by the Police Headquarters Salerno in recent months, as part of the prevention activity to protect the tranquility of citizens. There has been a high level of attention towards individuals dedicated to the commission of predatory crimes, in particular thefts in commercial parking areas and scams against motoristsagainst whom 49 return prohibition orders were issued, also in response to proposals put forward by the Carabinieri Commands of the municipalities involved. This context includes the proposal to the Court of Salerno to apply the measure of special surveillance against a criminal with a criminal record for possession of narcotics for the purpose of dealing, robberies and thefts.

Furthermore, the prevention and control operations of the territory, during the summer season, have allowed us to identify some people responsible for home burglarieswhich occurred in the absence of the owners for the holidays. Equally significant was the attention dedicated to curbing the phenomenon of illegal parking attendants in the main streets and squares of the city, as well as street prostitution with the consequent issuing of 4 urban Daspo provisions.

As part of the activity aimed at preventing disorders in public establishments and places of public entertainment, 2 Dacurs were issued, the so-called Daspo Willyagainst an equal number of people who, during a dance evening in a local club, following an argument, struck a young man who had intervened to calm things down, wounding him with a cutting weapon in the left thigh.

Finally, in the sports field, the following have been issued: 3 Daspo on the occasion of football matches Santa Maria Cilento-Barletta e Montecorice-Mango Montestellaagainst an equal number of individuals responsible for illicit conduct capable of creating a potential disturbance to public order.
