Salernitana-Milan was played at the Arechi Stadium on Wednesday (4/1/2023) evening WIB. The Rossoneri led 2-0 at half-time thanks to goals from Rafael Leao and Sandro Tonali.
Milan actually had many chances in the second half, but it was Salernitana who scored the goal. The grenades reduce the defeat to 1-2 with Federico Bonazzoli.

Leao finally managed to snatch Ochao’s goal in the 10th minute. The Portuguese striker fired a shot from the edge of the penalty area and the ball was not stopped by Ochao. Milan leads 1-0 on Salernitana.
Milan extended the lead to 2-0 in the 15th minute. Sandro Tonali, following a pass from Brahim Diaz, kicks on the edge of the penalty area.
Salernitana tries to react after being down by two goals. There was an attempt from Boulaye Dia in the 22nd minute which only ended in a corner.
Milan nearly took the lead in the 32nd minute. From very close range, Olivier Giroud’s shot was saved by Ochoa.
Milan’s pressure slowly began to subside. In fact, Salernitana managed to unleash two shots, but none of them led to the goal and the score remained 2-0 until half-time for Milan.
Milan scored a goal in the second half, which was in the 58th minute. The referee disallowed after investigating via VAR why Fikayo Tomori’s shot hit Brahim Diaz, who was in an offside position.
The VAR returns to save Salernitana. This time the referee reversed the red card decision for Domagoj Bradaric, who had collided with Pierre Kalulu in the 76th minute.
