Salernitana, Gabetti’s blitz at the club

A meeting to try to imagine what will be. Salerno e Gabetti Sportsa synergy ready to become reality. What is missing, however, to make the collaboration a reality? The appointment of Roberto Busso, CEO of the Gabetti group, as the new president of Salerno.

The wait

There is still little to wait: next August 16th Danilo Iervolino will communicate to the Board of Directors his farewell to the position of President of the Bersagliera. He will remain the owner, he will still be the one to finance the Granata club but without any role. He will be replaced by Roberto Bussowith subsequent approval for collaboration with Gabetti Sport. Yesterday there was an initial contact between the service company and the Granata club. Busso and Ferdinand Gentilealso ready to become operational although with a task to be defined, were yesterday morning at Salerno Housein the offices of the Gate 25 of the Arechi Stadium. A first contact, a brief meeting also with the sports director Gianluca Petrachi and the appointment is next week. Elefante will be at the Arechi for Salernitana-Spezia although still a simple spectator, Busso will instead wait for the nomination and will debut with the Citadel presumably as a new president.

The scenario

However, this does not change the corporate scenario. The CEOor Maurizio Milan continues to maintain contact with the various investors who have set their sights on the club. Preliminary phase of analysis of the accounts (due diligence) before making the move. Proposals are awaited, with a group of southern entrepreneurs who want to accelerate like a foreign fund. These will be frenetic weeks, with the Granata club however wanting to get to know the interested parties thoroughly, asking those who have the ambition to get their hands on the Bersagliera for economic solidity and continuity of the project started by Iervolino and stopped after the relegation to Serie B.
What kind of company would investors find themselves with? Without debt and with the hard and meticulous work of achieving economic sustainability just a step away from being realized.
