The suspect is accused of contacts with a Russian citizen named Sergei K. He asked the accused to be a buyer for the FSB.
It is noted that Sergei K. also contacted in March the head of the company from the German city of Augsburg, who was convicted of violating the EU embargo on arms sales to Russia.
In this case, export documents showed that the technique was to be used in the oil and gas industry. In fact, they were intended for the state-owned company Novator, which makes systems, including nuclear-powered ballistic missiles.
