FAJAR.CO.ID — The government’s policy to increase the salaries of civil servants, military, police and PPPK by 8 percent and pensions by 12 percent has not yet been enacted. However, a number of civil servants have started to calculate the salary they will receive after the 8 percent salary increase.
Including the salaries of civil servants with bachelor’s degrees who will be accepted after an increase of 8 percent.
Government Regulation (PP) concerning the Nineteenth Amendment to Government Regulation Number 7 of 1977 concerning Salary Regulations for Civil Servants is still being drafted. The PP will later contain a civil servant salary table after an increase of 8 percent.
The government’s policy of increasing the salaries of state civil servants or ASN is said to be an effort to increase the welfare of state civil servants (ASN), especially civil servants (PNS).
The salary increase of 8 percent is not only enjoyed by civil servants. Salary increases will also be received by the TNI, Polri and government employees with work agreements or PPPK. While retirees get a salary increase of 12 percent.
“ASN is not only civil servants, but includes PPPK as well. So, PNS and PPPK can enjoy an 8 percent salary increase,” said Acting (Plt.) Head of Public Relations of the State Civil Service Agency (BKN), Iswinarto Setiaji, Wednesday 16 August 2023.

Child allowance
Positional allowance
Meal allowances
General allowance
Performance allowance
Of the six types of civil servant benefits, performance allowances (Tukin) or additional employee income (TPP) are the most tempting. This is because the nominal tukin can be greater than the basic salary (gapok).
