Salary Disbursement Delay Continues in Thiruvananthapuram: Government Promises Resolution by Wednesday

Thiruvananthapuram: Salary disbursement which was halted in the early days continues. Health and education sectors were scheduled to be paid on Tuesday, but many people in these departments are yet to receive their salaries. Aided school teachers, Police and Revenue are yet to get any section. Government sources said that everyone in these categories will get their salaries by Wednesday afternoon.

It was decided to give it to everyone by Wednesday. But this week may be the end of the delivery. There is a limit of Rs 50,000 for withdrawing salary from the treasury through cheque. Bank account buyers are not restricted. The restriction was abandoned because the software could not be modified accordingly.

Minister K.N. said that there is no restriction on withdrawal of personal deposits. There are complaints that some treasuries did not allow withdrawal of deposits despite Balagopal’s clarification.
