The declared income for the whole of 2013 from other economic activity in Appendix 3 of the tax declaration amounts to BGN 1.060 billion. This is BGN 96 million or 10% more than in 2013. In this appendix, the income from copyright and license fees, from the exercise of free professions, the sums under civil contracts, as well as the income of artists and performers, of agricultural and tobacco producers from the sale of manufactured unprocessed agricultural products.
94,800 are the citizens who declared income from rents in 2013. The rents declared by landlords to the National Revenue Agency amount to BGN 417.7 million, which is an increase of 9% compared to 2013.
A total of 551,200 declarations were received by the National Revenue Agency by the end of the tax campaign – April 30, 2014. For comparison, for the same period last year, the received forms were 602,500. The trend of increasing the share of citizens who prefer to contact the National Revenue Agency continues electronically. In 2014, 15% of people submitted their return online, signed with an electronic signature, while in 2013, 11% did so.
