Liverpool are on the verge of qualifying for the round of 16 of the European Football Championship after their big 7-1 win against Scottish Rangers on Wednesday in the fourth round of Group A matches.
Liverpool upped the score to 9 points in second place, 3 points behind leaders Napoli, who had secured qualification after scoring their fourth consecutive group win at the expense of Dutchman Ajax 4-2 on Wednesday.
Rangers, on the other hand, are the last of the group’s standings without credits, having lost the four games played so far.

Rangers advanced through Scott Arfield in the 17th minute, before Brazilian Roberto Firmino equalized in the 24th minute.
Firmino scored the second goal for him and Liverpool in the 55th minute, before Darwin Nunez scored the third goal for the English side in the 66th minute.
Egyptian national team star Mohamed Salah starred and scored 3 goals (hat-trick) after coming in as a substitute, scoring goals in the 75th, 80th and 81st minutes, before his colleague Harvey Elliott concluded the scoring festival with the seventh goals in the 87th minute.
