The President of the Republic, Katerina Sakellaropoulou, made a public statement on the completion of one year since the tragic accident in Tempi.
“One year later, the Tempe tragedy hurts and angers society. The pain remains unabated and the questions unanswered. Our thoughts are with the families of the victims, the injured, the passengers who experienced the horror of that night.
Words cannot heal the wound. It is the State’s duty to take responsibility and ensure that our country never again experiences such a blow to the security and trust of the citizens.”
