Bukayo Saka finally made a statement after failing to help England win Euro 2020. This is what the 19-year-old said.
English failed to win Euro 2020 after losing on penalties against Italy. Saka became the last kicker for The Three Lions and his failure to beat Gianluigi Donnarumma made the trophy fall into the hands of Gli Azzurri.
Saka is not the only English player to fail in the penalty shootout. There are Marcus Rashford and also Jadon Sancho, who first failed to do their job well.
Saka, who is a player belonging to Arsenal, briefly disappeared without first commenting after the painful defeat. Now, he has appeared and thanked him for the support that has come.
“I have been away from social media for a few days to spend time with family and reflect on the last few weeks,” Saka said on his social media.
