She received a generous bequest in May 2020. Michel Mandrile, 76, left one million euros on his death, that is to say more than the annual budget of the municipality! They came several times to Creuse to film in particular the setting up of the town hall’s suggestion box. The municipality then inaugurated a square that bears the name of the generous donor. His house will become a lodge. The money will also make it possible to install a house for childminders, renovate the village hall, or even build rental accommodation.

The other towns chosen in the report are Vigen near Limoges, which inherited a 19th century castle, Wassigny in Aisne, heiress to a museum, and Rouez in Sarthe which received a property portfolio of 38 million euros. euros.
