Dance, theatre, humour, music… The cultural season of Saint-Martin-d’Hères en scène (SMH) promises to be diversified for 2023-2024, starting with the thirtieth anniversary of the Blue Hour. We take stock of the shows to come by the end of 2023.

In just over a month, the cultural season of Saint-Martin-d’Hères on stage will give its starting signal!
A festive opening of the season
Ah, thirty, a very beautiful age! L’Heure Bleue blows out the 30th candle of its construction to inaugurate the cultural season. A festive day, free for all the aged in association with the European Days of Matrimony and Heritage is scheduled for 16 September (see below).
Theater in all its forms
Let the twelve strokes resonate, the theatrical season offers four very different pieces for this first part with an outdoor launch. Wednesday, September 27, at 6 p.m. Aperitif of the Ariadne company will be in full swing at Place Étienne-Grappe.

Another time, another atmosphere. Tuesday, October 17, the company Marjolaine Minot offers The poetry of failure a tender show on family and ill-being as part of mental health information weeks.
Without forgetting Boat object theater on Saturday, December 9, both for children and adults, and the two performances of the theatrical tale Dima by the Infini Dehors company, on Wednesday December 20, shortly before Christmas between music and puppets.
Dance where and to what you want
Climbing dance, video dance or plain dance, the choice is difficult. For a 360 degree show, you have to opt, as the name suggests, for Levitation of the company Beyond Blue where the illusion is such that the bodies seem to fly in the air, Thursday October 5th.

While in Little Blue and Little Yellow , on November 3 and 4, it is no longer the air that must be tamed but a leaning, inverted decor. A production on the theme of learning and encounters to discover during the All Saints holidays.
Four days for children from 0 to 3 years old
It’s the meeting place for the little ones! From November 29 to December 2, they are in the spotlight with two thirty-minute shows adapted to their young age at the single price of 5 euros: dance with the Kay company at the Aragon neighborhood house and object theater initiatory with the La Clinquaille company at the Espace culturel.

During these days, it is possible to talk with early childhood professionals about parenthood at the Blue Hour.
Headliners in music and humor
Coming directly from Auvergne, Djamil Le Shlag captured the waves of France Inter with its caustic chronicles. He arrives on the scene of the Blue Hour, November 23.
Are you more of a black and absurd humour? Aymeric Lompret’s new show, Yolo, is what you need. See you on December 15.
On the music side, the stage is open at the Blue Hour between Cali, which is celebrating the 20th anniversary of its album Perfect love, December 16 and the youth of Tim Dup, four albums with this bewitching voice and these texts as raw as sincere which characterize him.

Ball, visits, exhibition… the 30th anniversary of the Blue Hour will launch the season
How to open the cultural season of Saint-Martin-d’Hères on stage differently? The 30th anniversary of the creation of the Blue Hour provides the perfect setting for a fanfare launch. And that’s an understatement. Saturday, September 16 from 10 a.m. to 9:30 p.m., Blue Hour offers a free day of celebration.
An anniversary is always accompanied by its share of photos from past years, which gives rise to an exhibition of 30 images retracing the history of this cultural space, so dear to the municipality.
Would you rather have a coffee under the theme of memories and anecdotes at 10 a.m. or a ride on a little tourist train to discover the city’s street art frescoes? Both are possible. The departure of the little train is in front of the Blue Hour at 2 p.m., 3:30 p.m. and 5 p.m.
A festive, friendly and free day
To discover the theater differently, one-hour theatrical visits are organized at 3 p.m. and 6 p.m. with the Compagnie des Gentils. And a party isn’t really a party without dancing and music. At 8 p.m., the Big Joanna marching band will bring the New Orleans sun with its brass and dancers for the Saint-Louis ball where everyone is invited to dance to close the day.
Reservation for the little train in the media libraries or on 04 76 42 76 88.
