Deprived of competitions and cross country for many months, but very assiduous in training, the youngest, youngest and youngest from Lescure and Saint-Juéry have happily found their way back to competitions. Since the end of May, every weekend, the meetings have followed one another: Tarn Championship, Pointes d’Or, Tarn 800/200 Championship, Occitanie Championship. It was Joanna Paulhe (Usca Lescure) who opened the ball on May 29 in Castres with a title of Champion of Tarn Cadettes over 3,000 m Marche. The next day, May 30, in Albi will follow: Tarn Romane Libourel BE Champion (Disc and 1,000 m), Louna Libourel MI (120 m, triple jump), Guillaume Ployette MI 2,000 m. If we add the 2nd and 3rd places (Nathan Munoz, Valentin Lavergne, Bastien Lavergne), in total there will be 11 medals for Lescure and Saint-Juéry. On June 6 in Albi, 11 minors took part in the first round of the Pointes d’Or, 5 qualified for the Regional Tour on June 20. On June 13 the 4 torchbearers of the 800/200/200/800 finished in 2nd place in the mixed relay. And finally, on June 27, 4 athletes (qualified) made the trip to Vergèze for the Occitanie Championships: Thilya Sabatier 3,000 m walk, Simon Benoist height and disc and Guillaume Ployette 2,000 m for the Capial Athlé. Nathan Munoz from Usca Lescure will climb to the third step of the podium with a good time of 6’47 ”over 2,000 m.
