Saint-Girons. A final clap that takes your breath away for the Théâtrales

“The 2023 season will end with a somewhat iconoclastic spectacle”. Anne Gondolo, president of Théâtrales en Couserans, is impatient to introduce the public to “La Perruque d’Andy Warhol”. “This is an astonishing, funny and scathing show which denounces in a very ironic way the scourge of celebrity.”

The show will be presented on Friday, December 15, at 8:30 p.m., on the stage of the Max Linder room, by an emerging French unit of the large network “Andy Warhol”, (in reference to the American artist, leader of Pop Art) , which currently has three members, those of the La Mandale company.

All are brought together by the same spontaneous desire to propose local operations, in reaction to the dominant model of success through celebrity, with the desire to invite everyone “to act together to make symbolic actions visible in order to put an end to this scourge of visibility”.

A mind-blowing statement that invites spectators to question “what are we prepared to do to emerge from anonymity, or even insignificance?” “Can we create a celebrity from scratch? Beyond that, what degree of confidence can we have in the images?”, says the president.

The show combines puppetry, video, sound and image. “It will move to motivate this rebellion against these often futile impulses.”

Please note that a specific session will be offered for schools. “A great season is coming to an end and we are already actively preparing for the next one.”
