Saint Etienne. The Lions Club collects old radios to benefit sick children

The 2021 campaign to collect old x-rays was launched by the Lions Club Europe 3 Vallées in the Saint-Etienne region. And this for the benefit of a local association, not yet defined, but linked to the sick child.

All you have to do is drop off your old x-rays in one of the collection points, the Lions Club takes care of sending them to a specialized structure, located in Marseille, responsible for recycling them.

Containing silver polluting water and soil, these x-rays should not be thrown in the trash or integrated into traditional collection circuits. In this sense, the Lions Club Europe 3 Vallées has established a partnership with some forty pharmacies and physiotherapy practices in Saint-Étienne and in a number of municipalities in the agglomeration and in the Forez plain.

These points are recognizable by the posters marked with an X-rayed thumb and an explicit slogan: “For you, an X-ray that Gold is Money for us, and our aid actions have none. never needed so much ”.
