Do not drink and drive. In Saint-Etienne, some motorists do not even ask themselves this question. They take the wheel while they are heavily soaked.
This Thursday, February 17, the police blew two drivers who were seriously intoxicated. Both had levels above 2 grams.
The first, aged 33, was checked around 1:50 a.m. in the downtown area.
In drunk tank
The second, aged 18, who did not have a seat belt while driving in the Center-Deux sector, was asked to stop. Without a driver’s license, he showed 2.02 g of alcohol… at 8:40 a.m.
The two individuals left their respective vehicles to regain their senses in the drunk tank before being auditioned. They will be judged later in court for these facts.
Two days earlier, Tuesday February 15, a 44-year-old driver was checked with a rate of 2.58 grams of alcohol per liter of blood. And incidentally, he drove without insurance, without registration and without a driver’s license.
