“My father is black, my mother is white, I am mixed race”. So begins the answer made by Denis Bouanga Sunday April 11, 2021 on his Twitter account to the supporters of his club, AS Saint-Etienne who sent him a racist video April 3, 2021.
At first, the player had alerted the club de supporters Magic Fans to which belong those who sent the video. The club immediately denounced their act and excluded them.
Opening of an investigation
For its part, the international club, AS Saint-Etienne, also condemned this video and filed a complaint against X. The prosecution has opened an investigation.
But the principal concerned did not say anything during the whole week which followed the reception of this video. It is therefore through his Twitter account he has chosen to express himself Sunday April 11 at 11 p.m..

He also specifies for the attention of Stéphanois: “I know that the green earth has nothing to do with racism, with xenophobia. Let’s not generalize a minority fact, let’s leave these people in the dark. “

For the attention of the authors of the video, Denis Bouanga wishes ” that the sanction be exemplary. He specifies that “to do nothing would be a form of renunciation”, after having indicated that he was not animated by “any spirit of vengeance”.
And he concludes with these words: “Long live tolerance, long live interbreeding, long live life.” “
