The Histoire d’or jewelry store, located in the Centre-Deux shopping center, was robbed on Monday March 14 in Saint-Étienne.
It was 10:30 a.m. on Monday morning when three hooded and armed men broke into the Histoire d’or jewelry store at the Centre-Deux shopping center in Saint-Étienne.
The shocked customers
The individuals were in possession of iron bars. They threatened the employees, before breaking the windows and stealing the jewelry.
The operation, which took place in front of shocked customers, lasted only a few minutes. No injuries are reported. An officer attempted to pursue the perpetrators, but was sprayed with tear gas.
The criminals fled in a vehicle. They are still wanted. An investigation for armed robbery is opened.
