The members of the departmental commission for cinematographic development present gave a favorable opinion on the request for authorization for cinematographic exploitation presented on December 24, 2021 by the company CINEPLAZA with a view to the creation of a cinematographic establishment with six screens and nine one hundred and seventy-one places located 3 rue de La Batterie in Saint-Denis.

Soon a Cinema multiplex in Saint-Denis
A favorable opinion was issued by the members of the departmental commission for cinematographic development for the construction of a multiplex cinema in Saint-Denis au Barachois, more precisely at 3 rue de La Batterie.
The establishment will include six screens, therefore six cinemas and nearly 1,000 seats with a restaurant.
This decision will be notified to the beneficiary within ten days of the date of the committee meeting and will be included in the collection of administrative acts of the prefecture of La Réunion. It will be displayed for one month at the town hall of Saint-Denis from its notification.
