The quality of the flowering of Saint-Cyr-sur-Loire in Indre-et-Loire has just been recognized. The association of Towns and Villages in Bloom unveiled its 2023 prize list this Wednesday, September 20. The Touraine commune of nearly 17,000 inhabitants obtained the “golden flower”.
This label is awarded each year to municipalities already equipped with “Four flowers and which present an exemplary approach” specifies the association. “This award is valid for one year and renewable only every six years”adds the association of Towns and Villages in Bloom. With Saint-Cyr-sur-Loire, five other municipalities receive the “golden flower” label : Changed in Mayenne, Lyons-la-Forêt in Eure, Les Hauts-de-Caux in Seine-Maritime, Megève in Haute-Savoie and Valenciennes in the North.
