Saint Colomban. Resignation of the elected official for social affairs

In city council, Patrick Bertin, the mayor, announced the resignation of the 5e deputy, Christine Dechartre, of which she informed the council in a letter dated February 11. A request validated in the prefecture on March 8. The reason for this departure was not mentioned in public session.

The number of deputy mayors was set at six by the municipal council in May 2020 and the General Code of Local Authorities requires an equal distribution of deputy positions in municipalities with more than 1,000 inhabitants.

In municipal council, Wednesday, March 30, the elected officials thus validated, unanimously, the only candidacy of the councilor, Nathalie Menue. The latter will now occupy the position of 5e social affairs assistant, previously provided by Christine Dechartre.

On the sidelines of this reorganization, it was also decided that the mayor would delegate matters relating to the management of multi-reception, intermediate housing and social housing to Nadège Boursin, municipal councilor.

It should also be noted that Councilor Jessica Bertesche will replace Christine Dechartre in her role as Community Councillor.
