That’s what we call a happy birthday! HAS Saint-André-lez-Lille (North)the huge Hall U Need dining-bar and entertainment complex celebrated his first year in this month of June 2022, but also its 500,000th visitors. Objective more than fulfilled for the leaders of the places.
Goals exceeded
The complex, which opened on June 9, 2021, thus posted a turnover of €5.2 million over 12 months (June 2021 to June 2022), of which 65% from the catering-bar activity and 35% from the game activity.
“I didn’t expect such success, especially with businesses in the region. We have succeeded in adapting an American model to the French market, by adopting a premium positioning, and we have exceeded the objectives set by the business plan”, smiles Cyril Parenna, founder of Hall U Need.
In one year, 500,000 visitors have passed through the doors of the complex and more than 300 companies have organized their seminars, a company meal or a team-building event there. “A first complete privatization for a company of 600 employees has just taken place”, even specifies the company.
It must be said that Hall U Need has been able to gradually diversify its offer by offering an event program for all audiences from September 2021 (broadcasting of sporting events, concerts, blind test, DJ evenings) and by opening a huge 650m2 terrace in May 2022. The site has thus created 60 jobs (Full-Time Equivalents) and continues to recruit.
Other openings to come in France
Building on this success, the northern brand is already working on opening other sites in France, before considering its deployment in Europe.
“The development of Hall U Need was part of the initial project. Proof that the concept appeals, we are regularly asked by town halls and property companies to duplicate the model. For our next site, we will be able to capitalize on the experience acquired to open quickly, in particular by training new teams on our pilot site”, specifies Cyril Parenna.
The brand development team is currently selecting sites in the 10 largest cities in France. These sites must meet specific criteria: interior space of more than 4,000m2, with a large parking capacity, close to main roads and located in an area that hosts a large number of companies.
In the immediate future, Hall U Need is optimizing the organization of its Saint-André-Lez-Lille site to increase customer satisfaction and is considering the creation of a performance hall as well as the installation of a new attraction. unique in France and intergenerational.
