Saint-Aignan: a firefighters-hospital agreement

On Monday, September 9, at the Saint-Aignan hospital center, the signing of the availability agreements for volunteer firefighters took place in the presence of the director of the establishment Valérie Botte, Philippe Sartori, president of the board of directors of Sdis 41, the mayor of the city Éric Carnat, commander Jean-Noël Richard, colonel hors classe Mohammed Kharraz, departmental director of Sdis, colonel Nicolas Le Gall and lieutenant Rémy Lasserre.

Recognition of work

The aim of this agreement is to maintain and promote the availability of firefighters during the day and to facilitate their working conditions, taking into account the constraints of the hospital establishment. In particular, it makes it possible to formalize the availability granted for operational purposes or in terms of training. “It’s a way of recognizing the work of firefighters who invest themselves during their working hours and during their rest time,” Colonel Kharraz stressed in particular. And also, to respond to the wishes expressed by everyone, namely to arouse new vocations.

For its part, the hospital center has been awarded the national partner employer label for firefighters for a period of three years.

The agreement concerns five agents employed at the hospital: Cédric Gauthier, chief warrant officer and director of material resources, Fabrice Chailloux, chief sergeant, Pierre-Henri Goutagny, sergeant, Stéphanie Sicault, chief corporal, Natacha Toujours, volunteer firefighter.
