Saidou Sow in Le Havre, file closed?

Saidou Sow is a bit of the attraction of this year’s end at AS Saint-Etienne. Although he was indeed blacklisted by the staff, a combination of circumstances (Giraudon suspension, Briançon injury, Petrot and Bakayoko repositioning) gave him 75 minutes against Caen. The least we can say is that he was excellent and he confirmed that he has the level for championship 2!

Despite this episode, the current staff intends to part ways with Saidou Sow. Indeed, Laurent Batlles offered more playing time to the three recruits Giraudon, Briançon and Petrot. The first two will return for Laval.

Courted

The Guinean international has no shortage of courtiers for this transfer window. It must be said that the defender has an interesting profile. At only 20 years old, the defender has a little experience behind him for 2 seasons flirting with the professional world.

Le Havre and Sporting de Bastia have asked about a possible transfer. Other formations have positioned themselves without the identity being leaked. The player wants to buy time and sees his progress hampered by Puel’s farewell. And it is largely understandable!

An exit door that closes?

Le Havre, leaders of Ligue 2, are very interested in Saidou Sow. According to our information, steps have been taken to convince the ASSE. The two clubs never seem to have found common ground. Le Havre has therefore opted for a new option and will sign Etienne Youte Kinkoue according to information from Loic Tanzi.

The recruitment of this 1.96m defender from 2002 should seal Saidou Sow’s departure… to Le Havre! Nothing certifies that the player will not leave but a door closes!
