ABU DHABI: Zayed University of Abu Dhabi has brought about a fundamental change in the education system in line with the modern work environment. The famous Zayed University in Abu Dhabi, which is under the control of the UAE government, has initiated the modernization of the education system according to the occupational sector. The UAE Minister of Education, Ahmed bin Abdullah Belhoul, explained the new study system of Zayed University. Belhaul was speaking at the World Economic Forum in Davos. The UAE Minister of Education explained this in a panel session on ‘Preparing one billion people for the future financial sector’.
Belhaul pointed out that there is a huge gap between the output of the current education system and the requirements of today’s labor market. Syed University focuses on changing the education system with time. Syed University implements a beneficial educational system to develop the aptitudes of the students. By 2026, Al Said University will phase out traditional burads. Syed University is preparing to change the education system according to the hybrid methods of post-Covid pandemic jobs like social entrepreneurship and business ventures with undergraduate courses consisting of various branches of study. Authorities say that such aptitude development curriculum is necessary to meet the future demand.
Syed University develops skills in communication, time management, mental development and timely training. Minister Belhaul also pointed out that if aptitudes cannot be developed as part of the education system, it will be difficult to develop them later. By 2030, Syed University aims to inculcate a billion people with skill development education in seasonal poisons. About 350 organizations are working with the reskilling forum of the university.
