SAIC Maxus depot and Hong Kong general agent Inchina Group held a large-scale press conference at the Ritz Carlton Hotel this morning (July 21). They first announced that the Maxus Mifa 9 electric 7-passenger car has been sold in just three months since it went on sale in April this year. The first batch has arrived in Hong Kong. The agent invited the first few car owners, including artist Hu Nuoyan and his wife Chen Qi’s family, to attend the delivery ceremony.
Liu Qicheng, Managing Director of Inchina Group Greater China, emphasized at the press conference that the company was appointed by SAIC Maxus Automobile Factory as the designated general agent in Hong Kong. Seeing that Mifa 9 has received enthusiastic support from local car owners, the two parties announced to further deepen cooperation and introduce more new energy vehicles in the future. Recently, many other companies in the market claim to be authorized dealers of SAIC MAXUS, and also sell Mifa 9 in Hong Kong at the same time. However, Yingzhijie emphasized that only the new cars sold by the general agent in Hong Kong will enjoy the original factory warranty, and the source of goods imported from dealers in other parts of the mainland will not be guaranteed.
Mifa 9 is the only pure electric luxury MPV in the local area for the time being. The Hong Kong version comes in two versions, including the Luxury version and the Premium version. The “one-for-one” price starts from HK$499,000 and HK$575,000 respectively. According to the agent, the latter is the most popular for the time being, accounting for 70% of the sales volume. All more than 500 vehicles can be delivered within this year. In addition, nearly 90% of the new buyers of Mifa 9 used fuel vehicles before, 80% of the new buyers originally drove 7-seat MPVs, and 50% of the buyers were for business purposes.
