Deputy Chairman of Commission III DPR Ahmad Sahroni comment on statement Bahlil Lahadalia which says employees are unlikely to be rich. Sahroni’s response was uploaded through his social media, Thursday (27/1).
“Alhamdulillah, I am from the work driver, Mr. Minister. Not only from employees,” said Ahmad Sahroni in his upload on Instagram, Thursday (27/1).
The Minister of Investment/Head of the Investment Coordinating Board (BKPM) Bahlil Lahadalia some time ago said that it is impossible for a state civil servant (ASN), who is an employee, to become a rich person.
“I don’t understand what the economic formulation says that being an ASN (state civil servant) makes people rich, whose name employees cannot be rich, unless God has other wills,” said Bahlil in the Indonesia Economy Outlook 2022, Tuesday (25/1).
He even revealed that his salary as investment minister was no more than Rp. 20 million per month. According to him, the salary of a commissioner in a company is much higher than that of a public official.
“So don’t think that being an official is a lot of money, no, the authority is yes, but for the welfare of the people. These deputies of mine, their salary is not more than Rp. 100 million, I used to work in a company as a commissioner, our minimum salary was Rp. 200 million. So it can’t be done. to the mall again now,” joked Bahlil.
Bahlil talked about per capita income in Indonesia. Referring to a survey he had conducted on students, he appealed to students to change the mindset of wanting to become employees after graduating from college.
“How to change mindset or the mindset of students from employees to entrepreneur,” he said.
