Since last week already, Lyon has been welcoming a new cloud of sand from the Sahara which covers the city with an almost apocalyptic yellow-orange light. But that the very anxious are reassured: the phenomenon is now frequent in the region and has nothing harmful. But in addition to the desert sand, Lyon should witness the great return of the rain. If precipitation has been expected (or even hoped for) for several weeks, this coincidence of the calendar should cause muddy and sandy fallout on the sidewalks but also the windows… and the cars. Motorists are therefore strongly advised not to wash their car before the end of this dusty episode.
A cloud of #sable of #Sahara crosses the Iberian Peninsula and goes back to France. This evening, the sunset will be very colorful? The concentration exceeds 130 µg/m3 in France and 220 in Spain, as much as in the Sahara. Tomorrow’s showers will dirty the cars?️?️ pic.twitter.com/HWSod4KxRw
