Jaygan Fu Ponnudurai officially became CEO of PT Visionet International (THIS), a digital payment platform, rewards and financial services in Indonesia. He replaces Jason Thompson who has served since 2018.
As CEO of OVO, Jaygan is responsible for the entire strategy and performance of the company. The goal is that OVO can continue to encourage financial literacy and inclusion by expanding digital payments and financial services throughout Indonesia.
Prior to his appointment as CEO of OVO, Jaygan held various strategic roles at OVO and Grab. Jaygan has joined OVO since 2018 as Chief Commercial Officer.
He also briefly served as Deputy Regional Head of 2 Wheels Business (Bike and Express) at Grab. Then he also served as Country Head of Malaysia and Head of Operations and Head of Operations. Jaygan was listed as a member of the Grab company in 2013.
His career journey has also been followed by well-established global companies such as Accenture (2009-2013) and research firm International Data Group. As the new CEO, Jaygan wants OVO to continue to grow and assist in accelerating digital financial literacy and inclusion throughout Indonesia. He has three ways to achieve that goal.
