The Vorarlberg graphic designer and New Yorker by choice Stefan Sagmeister told “Vorarlberg Live” on Wednesday how he experienced the corona crisis.
Thanks to the changed political situation in the USA in recent weeks and months, he sees “light at the end of the tunnel,” says Stefan Sagmeister, who has lived in New York for years.

In “Vorarlberg Live” the native of Vorarlberg spoke about the atmosphere in the cultural metropolis of New York. Currently it doesn’t look good for theater and events, but museums and galleries are well attended with restrictions. The city has changed a lot. Stefan Sagmeister describes how numerous “pub gardens” are currently emerging in New York, but also how many shops are disappearing.
–
For himself, the situation is less serious. Fortunately, as a graphic designer, he can work extremely flexibly and independently. He also started working on a new project during the crisis.

In a detailed conversation with Pascal Pletsch, Stefan Sagmeister also described how the coronavirus had an impact on his direct circle of friends, why he would like to see the pandemic from a historical perspective and what his new project is about.
