U.S. stock index futures were mixed on Tuesday ahead of the first of several jobs reports this week, a day after Federal Reserve Chairman Jerome Powell contradicted market expectations for excessive interest rate cuts.
At 9:11 ET, Dow e-minis (1YMc1) were down 0.29% at 42,521. S&P 500 e-minis ES1! were 0.05% lower at 5,811.5, while Nasdaq 100 e-minis 
NQ1! were 0.07% higher at 20,276.25.
