Two suspects, whose identities were determined, were caught as a result of the operation and brought to the police station. The suspects, Bayram D. and Kartal D., whose statements were taken, declared that they attended the funeral on the day of the incident and did not commit any theft. The suspects, who were transferred to the Istanbul Courthouse after their statements, were arrested by the on-duty Criminal Judgeship of Peace and sent to prison.
