The NRC has published an article about contamination of paracetamol with para-chloroaniline (PCA), a substance that is possibly carcinogenic. According to the MEB, the amount of PCA in the paracetamol tested by NRC does not exceed the permitted amount. The safety of the use of paracetamol is not compromised.
