Businessmen and tourism agencies in the north, south and east are preparing to receive tourists on their first July 28 without confinement since the pandemic began. It is estimated that some 300,000 people will visit the country on these dates, translated into income of US $ 100 million for domestic tourism. Vaccination, partial relief of the economy and Safe Travels stamps are all participants in this.
In the south, the traditional destinations of Cusco and Arequipa stand out, where the arrival, together, of no less than 60,000 travelers is expected. In Puno alone, for example, there are twenty attractions with the Safe Travel Safe Destination seal. The floating islands of Uros are, without a doubt, an inexpensive and fast alternative. The fare that includes entry is S / 12.50. The tourist can visit up to three islands in a period of 3 hours and 15 minutes.
Towards the north, following the Inca route, some of the circuits enabled to visit on the national anniversary are the City Tour Cajamarca, Namora, Cumbemayo, La Colpa and Llushcapampa, Ventanillas de Otuzco and the Rescue Room. Precisely, the latter was reopened last week by the authorities. In the case of the Ventanillas de Otuzco, the tours will be carried out by groups of a maximum of eight people, including the tour guide. Quotas are scheduled every ten minutes, considering a maximum of 304 people per day, and from Tuesday to Saturday between 10:30 am and 5:30 pm
And if what you want is to get to know Lambayeque, you have the option of visiting the Brüning, Huaca Rajada-Sipán, Chotuna-Chornancap and Túcume museums. Another destination that you can visit in the northern regions of Piura, La Libertad, Áncash and Tumbes are its beaches, which have already had biosafety protocols in place for a few months. In some of them there is fishing by reed horse and it has enabled the passage through docks with protocols to prevent the spread of Covid-19.

The capital and the First Port are not far behind for this July 28 and 29. In Callao, multiple cultural events have been organized that include boat itineraries from S / 15 and walks through the Monumental area, which this month received its Safe Travels seal. And if you are looking for a bit of adventure without leaving the city, you can venture to fly over Miraflores by paragliding with rates of S / 180, prior reservation.
