TRIBUNNEWS.COM, JAKARTA – PT PLN (Persero) ensures that electricity supply is safe during the implementation of the emergency community activity restrictions (PPKM) on 3-20 July 2021 in Java Bali.
PLN’s Java, Madura and Bali Regional Business Director Haryanto WS emphasized that the emergency PPKM condition requires people to stay at home, so the presence of electricity is very important.
“We will prepare 70,516 personnel to ensure electricity supply is maintained during PPKM. PLN has prepared 23,934 special personnel in Java-Madura-Bali,” he said in Jakarta, Friday (2/7/2021).
Haryanto ensured that PLN employees who belong to critical sectors will work totally by implementing the Covid-19 protocol.

The PLN employees include dispatchers, operators, maintenance, handling disturbances, work under voltage (PDKB) teams, call centers, security, implementers to project supervisors in the field.
“PLN ensures the adequacy of electrical power during emergency PPKM. We are well aware that the presence of electricity is very important so that people remain productive while doing activities at home,” he added.
Currently, the Java – Bali electricity system has a power capable of reaching 37,400 megawatts (MW).
The peak load for Java-Bali electricity is around 27,335 MW with a power reserve of 10,065 MW.
