MEXICALI, BC (T3) – With more than 200 patrols and the participation of the different police corporations as well as the National Guard and rescue groups, this Wednesday the start of the Safe December operation was given in order to provide greater surveillance to businesses and residential areas as well as avoiding car accidents that increase during this holiday season due to excessive alcohol intake.
Within the security actions, patrolling will be reinforced in commercial areas, banks and exchange offices since this season the cash flow increases with the payment of bonuses and Christmas shopping.
Likewise, road aid points will be reinforced in the city and the Valley to detect drivers under the influence of alcohol or illicit substances.
While rescue groups have been prepared with more ambulances in circulation, as in the case of the Mexican Red Cross, to respond more expeditiously to emergencies.
For the first time, security operations are being doubled with the Rubicon operation that began at the end of October and whose main objective has been to mainly inhibit commercial robbery.
The Safe December operation will conclude on January 6, as the last holiday date, so Mexicali is expected to have a white balance in these Christmas holidays.
