The Department of Commerce of the Torrelavega City Council has organized a second edition of the training course in personal self-defense for a ‘Safe Commerce’, taught by Omar Arenal, official instructor of the international organization Krav Maga Israelí Method.
In addition, on this occasion the sectors to which it is addressed have been expanded, including workshops aimed at merchants and another for transport professionals.
In the case of the course for transport professionals, basic concepts of self-defense inside the vehicle will be addressed, working on threats that occur from outside the car, the passenger in the back seat, the co-driver or with bladed weapons.
The course is free and will take place in the municipal building of the old La Llama Chamber of Commerce today and tomorrow from 3:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m., and from 8:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. in the case of merchants, the self-employed, and businessmen.
On May 18, outside the National Livestock Market, from 7:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. and from 8:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m., the course for transport professionals will take place.
