Coordination Group maintains operational actions during December holidays

During the meeting of the Local Coordination Group (GCL) held this Monday, the members of this body agreed to maintain the operational deployment and joint actions to continue with the strengthening of security and maintain a white balance during the December holidays and recognized that security Public administration has been a priority for the state administration, it was reported in a statement.
The Secretary General of the Government, Jehú Salas Dávila, reiterated the priority and disposition of Governor Alejandro Tello to attend, through the state and federal institutions, security throughout the Zacatecan territory and pay special attention to the highways due to the increase in transit before the arrival of nationals on these dates.
In this sense, he emphasized that the presence of state and federal police corporations must be maintained throughout the Zacatecan territory, especially covering the roads so that the countrymen who visit the entity can do so safely.
Salas Dávila assured that although the coordinated work has made it possible to inhibit the commission of crimes and offer greater security to Zacatecans, efforts must be redoubled and continue to offer conditions of tranquility to Zacatecans.
For his part, the Secretary of Public Security, Arturo López Bazán, stressed that the SSP has implemented various operations that are still ongoing, the objective of which is to ensure that the holidays pass safely, not only for the Zacatecans, but also also for those who visit the entity.
He recalled that both the Safe Christmas Operation and the Safe Paisano Operation will remain until January 8, 2021, so the accompaniment to bank branches, ATMs and caravans continues to provide security to compatriots.
He added that proximity and surveillance actions for the correct application of sanitary measures and healthy distance will continue in order to prevent infections by Covid-19.
López Bazán added that the operational actions emanating from the GCL are in response to citizen demands to maintain and reinforce the presence of state and federal forces.
After an analysis of the events recorded in the area of security and actions implemented to counter criminal groups and those who violate the law, they agreed to maintain close coordination with all bodies and corporations in this area.
