An incident without victims took place on Route 229, near Villa Arias.
The incident occurred around 2:30 p.m. on Tuesday, when a cattle transport car, with five calves on board, unexpectedly detached from the truck that was towing it, causing it to overturn several times on the shoulder.
Fortunately, this accident left no injuries. Neighbors of the sector who came to the driver’s aid expressed their relief by pointing out that the car did not cross into the opposite lane, which could have resulted in a larger accident due to the flow of vehicles at that time.
The truck, on its way to Bahia, suffered minimal damage and its driver was unharmed. The beaten calves were taken to a field near the route while their transfer in another vehicle was organized.
