There are new liveries to give the new Porsche 911 Dakar more impact on the road.
after the parcel Rally designwhich embodies the sports car that won the Paris-Dakar in 1984, the Stuttgart brand advances with three other proposals.
The new graphic packs are inspired by the “paints” of the models that raced in the Safari Rally of 1971, 1974 and 1978.
What is certain is that each of these three options is much cheaper than film Rally design that covers the new super sports car.
After all, to the 264,041 euros requested by the 911 Dakar, another 26,937 euros must be added for the work “recreated” by the Exclusive Manufaktur division of Porsche.
Of course, this value also includes the white painted wheels and the upholstery Race-Tex cover the banks.
The decals “glued” on the 1978 model recall the wavy colors of the Martini Racing Team in light and dark blue, to which orange is added.
The number 14 on the doors recalls the 911 SC Group 4 that Vic Preston Jr. drove to second place in the rally, being offered for €5,950 in Germany.
If this collage is the one that most appeals to the senses, the other two don’t lose much in terms of visual impact either.
The leather of the heavily modified Porsche 911 S with which the brand made its rally debut in 1971 costs 4,165 euros.
However, what distinguished the competition model from the conventional one were the black decals covering the bonnet, front fenders and doors.
The number 19 pays homage to the car that the Poles Sobieslaw Zasada and Marian Bien drove to fifth place in the race.
The same 4,165 euros cost the 911 Carrera 2.7 RS that Björn Waldegard and Hans Thorszelius drove to second place in the 1974 edition.
