The ‘K-Pop Concert’ scheduled to be held at the Saemangeum Jamboree camp tomorrow (6th) has been canceled.
The 2023 Saemangeum World Scout Jamboree Organizing Committee decided to cancel the ‘K-Pop Concert’ event scheduled for today (5th) afternoon tomorrow (6th).
We decided to discuss how to replace the ‘K-Pop Concert’ scheduled for tomorrow (6th) through a meeting tomorrow (6th) morning.
The ‘K-Pop Concert’, the program that drew the most attention among the Saemangeum Jamboree events, was scheduled to be held tomorrow (6th) at 8:00 pm on a special outdoor stage in Saemangeum.
This event, which was scheduled to be held as one of the Saemangeum Jamboree ‘Cultural Exchange Day’ events, was expected to be attended by more than 30,000 people as young people around the world are very interested in K-pop.
However, given the local weather in Saemangeum, concerns were raised that heat-related illnesses and injuries could occur, as at the opening ceremony on the 2nd.
It is said that the organizing committee is discussing changes to the schedule and venue while preserving the format of the originally scheduled ‘K-Pop Concert’.
An official from the Ministry of Gender Equality and Family said, “The event tomorrow (6th) has been canceled.”
