Saelemaekers, Trossard and Van Crombrugge leave for the Red Devils | Red Devils

The Red Devils gathered in the national training center in Tubize on Monday to prepare for the last triptych of the year. Belgium will play friendly against Switzerland on Wednesday, followed by Nations League duels with England (15/11) and Denmark (18/11).

Alexis Saelemaekers, Leandro Trossard and Hendrik Van Crombrugge will therefore not be there. Saelemaekers started on Sunday at Milan against Verona, but stayed in the dressing room at half time. Trossard was not there on Friday in the match of Brighton against Burnley. Van Crombrugge was in goal at Anderlecht throughout the match.

For Saelemaekers and Trossard, national coach Roberto Martinez is not calling on replacements for the time being. Van Crombrugge is replaced in the selection by Thomas Kaminski, who has been working for the English second division team Blackburn since this summer.

The Red Devils miss a lot of players this international period. Yannick Carrasco is missing due to a thigh injury. Timothy Castagne, who is struggling with a hamstring injury, is also not among them. Zinho Vanheusden is out with a serious knee injury. Eden Hazard is not there due to a corona infection. Romelu Lukaku is still questionable.
